World'S Largest Swimming Lesson

For two years in a row, the Newport Aquatic Center has participated in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson with pools all around the globe. Over the course of these June days, our instructors helped to provide free swim lessons to over 70 participants of all ages in the community!

Each year we hope to grow the event even more and reach a wider range of people so that our coastal community can learn important water safety skills, grow their swimming abilities, and help to reduce the risk of drowning.
